This song was inspired by a boy, but FAR from being about a boy. It can be interpreted however you want, but to me, this song is about mental illness and my personification of it.

I'm gonna sit here for a while
and think about how things used to be.
I'll let my mind wander for miles
'til I've found a familiar place for me.

I don't know where on earth I'm going,
or what I'll do when I finally know.
There is no sign that is showing
where in the blazes I should go.

Tell Lindsey that I can't come home.
Tell Lindsey I am far too gone.

As far back as I can remember
she was the one who kept me sane.
But when she left back in December
I might as well have lost my brain.

Tell Lindsey I have lost my way.
Tell Lindsey that she should have stayed.

I didn't think that I could do it,
couldn't make it through the night,
but I think that I'll get through it.
Everything will be alright.

I'm gonna sit here for a while,
think about how things are gonna be.

Tell Lindsey I will be just fine.
Tell Lindsey I finally see the light.

Tell Lindsey I will be okay.
Tell Lindsey I am on my way.
